1-Year Warranty
Every Coody tent from AirTents South Africa is covered against manufacturing defects for 1 year from the date of delivery.
What's covered
- Air beams & frame — defects in materials or workmanship: faulty seam welds, a defective valve, or a beam that fails to hold air under normal use.
- Canvas & fabric — defects in materials or workmanship: factory stitching faults, a defective waterproof coating, or holes present from manufacture.
- Other components — zips, buckles, and pump/accessories included with your tent, against manufacturing defects.
What's not covered
This warranty covers manufacturing defects — it doesn't cover damage from normal use, accidents, or the elements. Specifically excluded:
- General wear and tear (UV fading, fabric abrasion, worn zips)
- Punctures or tears from external objects (thorns, rocks, branches, pets)
- Damage from overinflation, impact, or exceeding the tent's rated capacity
- Mould or mildew from packing the tent away wet or damp
- Damage from weather beyond the tent's designed conditions (e.g. storm-force wind)
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Commercial or rental use
- Tents purchased from unauthorized resellers
Self-repair kit
Every tent ships with a self-repair kit for minor punctures and small fixes you can handle yourself. Using it doesn't affect your warranty cover for anything else.
Major damage
Some repairs need to go back to the manufacturing facility. If that's the case, we'll let you know upfront — it can take longer due to shipping, so please bear with us.
Making a claim
Email us at info@airtents.co.za with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or a short video. We'll assess it and get back to you with next steps — repair, replacement, or (if needed) a trip to the factory.
